I guess I'll have to go listen to one of his tracks just so I can hear what it is people are talking about. I can honestly say I've never heard a skrillex song yet.

Well, after listening to a couple I wasn't extremely impressed. I mean I have to give it to him for doing his thing. He's obviously got it going. However, it makes me sad to see something like that be the "it" thing and then something like this gets passed to the wayside.

I think most people start listening to Dubstep because they heard the crazy Brostep type of music, at least that's how I got into it.

When I first started listening, I came across the more chilled Dubstep, and I couldn't get into it, because it didn't sound WAY different than other music (In my opinion), I wanted that heavy bass with loads of wobbles and what not, because you don't hear that in any other genre!

I still can't listen to the chilled stuff, because I don't see how it's that great, it just seems to bore me..

I think the younger generation are into "Brostep" Because it's more crazy, and fun.. It's like Rock mixed with Techno or some shit.. What I'm trying to say is, it's just different..

If the first Dubstep song I heard, was the one you posted above, I would never be listening Dubstep now, because in my honest opinion, the song is shit.. But that's just my ears.

I came into Dubstep for the difference in it, that chilled out shit isn't me, and it seems like a lot of people aren't into it either ;l

I'm not trying to down you or what kind of music style you like, I just feel like it's not that different from other genres.

Skrillex is dope. Great sound design, great production value, and he keeps the song interesting. But haters gonna hate, so wtf ever haha. Glad to see a bit of love on here for him tho. His shit reminds me of datsik, but with production value closer to reso's. Just my opinion of course.

I don't understand why there are so many MT Eden haters...even if their production isn't like Datsik or Skrillex they still have their own unique sound that is good in its own right. The songs they make are really chill and well structured. Skrillex is awesome too he has his own metal/electro thing going on and I dig it, but it can't be heard too many times imo.

Skrillexes tunes are good technically, but they just don't do it for me really. Never took to SM and NS, just thought it was shit really. Id rather listen to somebody like High Rankin or Downlink, i think they do filth far better, and high rankins funny with it too.

I've listened to a couple skrillex songs, and well I think there "special" songs. special like the people who get parking spots right in front of the grocery store.
Sounds super heavy and kinda fun to listen to... Then the breakdowns are so gay my butthole pinches shut and i loose circulation to my legs.
his intros outros and break downs just destroy the songs for me.
