AMAZING NIGHT!!! I had such a good weekend in the big smoke! didnt manage to get to boxcutter on friday.
I headed into soho to go record buying on saturday and gots some choice bits Ive been after for a while.. bigup Youngsta for sorting me out in blackmarket, the man was soo helpful.
I thought the sound was better in 3rd base but the soundsystem down there had only just got warmed up when the venue switch happened, considering the short time they had too sort the other venue out I thought they done a good job, By 2 the sound was pretty good if it was bass you were after upstairs next to the stairs was where it was at!
I thoiught everyone smashed it I had too leave before vex'd's set but joe nice tore the place down!! 5 mate !! Youngsta drop some heavy shit! that D1 tune is PHAT! Scream was on fire and dmz tore it up!
big up all the people I met Luke, Youngsta, Laurent, Wayne. What?, Crystal and thanks to Mala for putting me on the members list at such notice!
AWESOME WEEKEND !! looking foward to comming down again soon..

I thought the last DMZ was rooadblocck.
did you see the size of the queue!!
The last DMZ was rammed, but to move room because there are too many people outside hoping that someone would come out so you could go in.... at 10.45.!! I got there early but not early enough... I was in the queue worried I wasnt getting in, hearing nothing but sub. In my opinion what I feel dmz do well is provide and for all those cold outside (me) they did that. I think alot of people will remember last night for that as I certainly will. and the incredible music that always gets played. Every Dj tore that place down. To many tracks and moments.
Didn't really get to meet any forum crew!! too lean and got into my zone from early starts on guiness and hi grade!
Big up everyone there and making the night something I will look back a remember as a fu**ing unforgetable night.

Heavy, heavy night. Can't add much to what others have said, but I thought Youngsta and Skream smashed it.
Switching to Mass after Joe Nice had finished his set was the only conceivable option if there's hundreds waiting outside and a bigger club going spare upstairs!
Although I've got to admit, I did find it a bit weird to start with to be at a DMZ in an 'elevated DJ-box, balcony-style' club. But when the dancefloor filled and the system had warmed up, it was all good
Incredible to see so many people there.
That night was definately a turning point. It's going to be exciting to see what happens now...

Madness. I just got back to Geneva, and I am sooooooooo fucking glad I made the mission - I had a brilliant brilliant night. It was going off almost from the beginning of Joe's set, and then when everyone got in upstairs it was off the hook. I never thought I'd see so many people properly getting down to the sound, I was blown away. No room for the headnod, everyone was going for it. Was gutted to miss Vex'd and Chef (spent today at a christening trying to mask my hangover), but the other sets were all wicked....
Big up Bristol crew, it was good to catch up, sorry I didn't get to talk to more of ya. And big up everyone who went, for providing the vibe, and big big big up to DMZ for another night to go in the history books.

Vex'd were on point, bringing all sorts of flavours 2 it! Big up everyone! Especially DMZ!

Joe Nice is a true Dubstep DJ- if you're gonna DJ live u gotta have some kind of performance capability and he's got it in abundance. If u love dubstep you'll love seeing Joe Nice live- standard
Everyone held it up though i refuse to choose one above the rest- the sounds were inspirational
Big-up the Del Monte guy- i'll be hunting you for some oranges next time, i was bunged up after the dance
Big-up the two people from the forum I met- Pones and the other dude who's name I've forgotten- big-up your mates- all the Irish headz reppin
Props to DMZ, props to Brixton town. Big-up the foodings guy outside the venue, all the girls catchin vibes, all the people that fell over, the geezer that collapsed at the beginning of Youngsta's set.
Bring on the nex one

Haha, yeah, I saw you talking to him and I was wondering if that was what was going on.Plasticman wrote:And Skream. I had to go and tell him to play Request Line. I'm sure I wasn't the only person in Mass who thought it would be quite fitting to hear such a pivotal track played on what will probably be remembered as THE pivotal night for this genre.
I also liked how many of his rewinds he had to get talked into.
Last night was insane.. Fuckin great time.
