http://www.digital-tunes.net !!!!!
they dont have the best selection but you can buy wav or flac for the same price as mp3 so can work out a lot cheaper if you want lossless! if they dont have it then i look at boomkat, trackitdown, junodownload, 7digital/ hmv digital for major label stuff

This. Most people could hear the difference between vinyl and CD. The difference is the distortion you get with vinyl. It sounds nice, but it's still distortion. If you accept that WAV is the most "faithful" format because it's the format from which 99.99999% of all dance music originates, then the difference between a 320k mp3 and the original is absolutely and completely dwarfed by the difference between vinyl played with a standard Ortofon DJ stylus and the original.Ennayess wrote:vinyl is detrimental to audio. it is perceived in a good way but it is detrimental none the less.TSH-Tim wrote:Let me ask you this then.... can you tell the difference between cd & vinyl ?64hz wrote:if ANYONE can do a blind (deaf infact) test in a club, where i play a .wav or an .mp3 of the same song and they can tell me which is which i would be hugely surprised.
As for that Funktion One video, I stopped paying attention when he said that humans can hear up to 50 kHz. Man makes a good soundsystem but he's clearly a bit misguided on a few salient points.

Grab all my digitals from Beatport because the interface for previewing/searching/buying tracks is excellent compared to other sites I have tried.

Beatport is a nice site, but so massively overpriced compared to others. Usually I use their player, and then buy from Junokeith_b wrote:Grab all my digitals from Beatport because the interface for previewing/searching/buying tracks is excellent compared to other sites I have tried.
