There was a Skreamizm with Outside The Box, so i guess technically that was number 6. But there hasnt been an official Skreamizm 6.

I don't even reckon anyone in this thread has been hatin' though. ('cept maybe that guy that said "turdiest"...)belalala wrote:haters gon' hate.
sea sick and heavy hitter were heavily requested in the thread that he made directly to his fans for feedback, if i remember correctly. he remains very open in communication with his fans and takes their input seriously which i think is more important than whether or not you like his tearout tunes here IMO.
No one questioned whether Skream listened to his fans or not, we all know Skream's one of the nicest guys with all the Freeizms he's given us and the fact that he's regularly asked fans what they want out. But on the flip side, it's not surprising people (myself included) are disappointed with the tracklist. Whatever he releases, because of the amount he produces, there's always gonna be people who are waiting for particular tracks.
As it is, though I'm feeling 3 out of the 4 tunes on this, it could've been a way better, and more balanced, release if he'd have split it between the tearout and deeper cuts. But who knows, Skream may have plans for some of the deeper cuts to be released in the future, but I can't comment on it because it doesn't exist yet. All we can say is that for some this release will be a bit disappointing.
Re: Skream Disfigured Dubz Dbl Pack
beg someone explain to me exactly what hating is cah im major confused...
If I don't like something, am disappointed with it and dont enjoy it, if I express disappointment or any sorta feeling of being upset, I am hating on the originator? Like I said before, I'm only speaking on a level, if Skream was my best bredrin I would still tell my man straight up that I think this is a poor release which had a lot more potential real talk.
obviously it's his label and he can do whatever he wants but I was actually kinda excited after seeing the request thread with people requesting the collabs with silkie/joker and hearing fatty drummer get heavy play on youngsta's show I was hopeful for future skream releases cah more time in the last year on radio or out live hes just been playing tearout (stella sessions from before 2010 had 10x more variety)
...then this purely tear out tracklist comes out, so man was naturally disappointed. I am not hating on the guy, I am actually a fan (dark light still in my top 10 fav tracks and my guy gave it to me - and everyone -for free, how can I hate skream?!)
hope the deep riddims still get releases eventually...

Totally agree with you dude.
But it's the way people get this message across though. It's not about coming in and calling it a "wank tracklist" and leaving it at that.

This here. And those who bought Outside the Box and Listenin'/Give You Everything have plenty of recent deep Skream tunes to rinse out if that's what you're dying for so badly, he really only put one tearout track (Wibbler) on there.MUT3 wrote:Any track skream releases is insta-buy. and you all know it

Which it isnt. These are tunes that both people wanted as Skream said and tunes that he wanted. It's not as if he hasn't put out 'deep' releases (I'd call the synths on Seasick and Heavy Hittah pretty fucking deep, but yes they are bangers and far from smooth and mellow) lately, and this is just what he wants to do right now. He's given us free releases one after another. If smooth and mellow is all you want there's lots of artists putting that stuff out RIGHT NOW. Otherwise is it so hard to turn to his incredible back catalog of deep vibe tracks, or the ones that are sure to come?mVI wrote:Totally agree with you dude.

since the dude was like 15 hes lived and breathed making music... one of my favorite producers of the past present and from what i've heard, certainly the future.
