city rock

Post by geiom » Mon May 07, 2007 1:06 pm

Big up everyone that supported the dubstep room -

wicked set from the bug/ricky rankin'/flowdan..

Jah War live ! :D

classic dmz loefah/mala back to back set -

Mr Skream was immaculate as ever - killer DJ and a true gent ...!

respect to Rust for holding it down for over 2hrs (!) while the DMZ car was stuck in traffic....

out to the futureproof/vent visual massive - you made that space look proper ..!

and bless up all the souljahs still there for my set at 4am....

K

(btw one of the funniest moments was climbing onto the main stage and waving at Goldie while he dropped his last tune - a whole sea of ravers and lasers to check out from up there !)

Big ups for holding it down with the last set.My legs where proper fooked by that point and had to duck out at 5:30 but you where dropping some seriously deep tunes. :o :o
The Bug killed it Flowdan was on form and Ricky Rankin is a bad vocalist also an honory mention to their dancer(little red riding hood) :D

How fuckin hot was it in that room though? I was sweating like a beast.
Big ups to Rust and Spamchop two of the most underatted DJ'S in the game.Rust smacked it with the oldschool Hardcore classics and Spamchop with some killer Garage basslines.

Skream,Loefah and Digital Mystikz where absolutely faultless.Pokes the host with the most keeping the crowd lively.

Big night

Very large night! Respect to the Futureproof crew and Geiom on the organisational front. Big up Detonate as usual.

Ridiculously hot in the dubstep room! As Pokes put it: 'There's not a part of my body which is not sweating.'

Few too many drug casualty spill overs from the DnB room for my liking, but the vibes were lively as usual. All the Dj's were big. New Coki dub (Fuck you / fuck off / Spongebob / Mental...not sure) smashed it. Jah War live was a moment as well.

Biggup on the pics, Was very very sweaty in there.

The dnb Stairs were deadly to the balcony, i mussa seen at least 5 man fuck themselves up slippin down!

Steels stairs + sweat/Drink spillage = no legs.

Don't think I've ever been that mashed in a dubstep dance lol

Wicked night, all heavy sets in the dubstep room but highlight for me was loefah/mala with pokes, pretty big vibes for that set.

Big up everyone I saw and didn't see

Thanks to everyone who stayed all night in the dubstep room last Sunday. Apologies about the heatness- next time I'll make sure there's more fans.

This weekend almost wiped me out... FWD/DMZ/Detonate....I just didn't get enough sleep!

Big up with Pokes bringing jokes to the arena... some of the stage invaders just begged parody.
