Seems to me that there are only 5 possibilities in a situation like this.

- Skrillex gave Zomboy his presets.
- Zomboy gave Skrillex his presets.
- Zomboy sampled from Skrillex.
- Skrillex sampled from Zomboy.
- Skrillex is Zomboy.

I'm liking these possibilities.

He sampled from Skrillex. Plain and simple. He shouldn't get recognition for sampling someone else's sounds and using them in the same exact way. If he did something creative with them then it would be different.

Not like he's going to get famous or anything, he's just another meh dubstep/house producer bringing nothing new to the game.

God listening to this guys music is pissing me off more and more, how can you be comfortable ripping 75% percent of the midranges from another song and rinsing the shit out of them in yours (its one if you sampled it, resampled, made it unrecognizable and made it your own) but he didnt even bother that, and what pisses me off more is reading the comments of those videos "everyone stop saying he copied skrillex, they both use massive, massive has that yaa wei sound, thats why they sound the same"............ from 58 to 1.02, you can clearly hear he has sampled bits of the bassline pattern in the La Roux - In For The Kill (Skrillex Remix)
his arrangement of the samples is good but i wanna see him come with some original fresh sounds before i make a judgement.
the Bass Cannon remix he's done is kinda sick.

and Skrillex even dropped it when i went to go see him in Manchester but even when i heard it live, i turned to my mate and was like "ehhhh! bass cannon (skrillex remix)?!"
got home and found out it was this random guy, id never heard of before. lol.

That kind of pisses me off too. I almost feel like I could make some good songs if I just used presets/patches, but I'm still at the beginner level since I've actually been trying to learn the theory of synthesis, mixing, effects, etc. Apparently it took him only a month of producing to get to the level he's at. Unfair if you ask me. He sounds like a very lazy person.

This is pretty weak. Sampling is all good and well, but sampling an artist who is currently at the top of his genre, to make a song of the same style, ain't too classy.
