For what it's worth I don't really see the point, why not go the whole hog, jump down to 85 and make some real hip hop y'know.
KOAN sound don't sound too much like Glitch Hop. I've never, ever, ever heard a Glitch Hop artist match that style. I have no clue what genre they are, but it's not really Glitch Hop in my ears -- BPM wise, maybe.
artists have been doing that 100bpm thing for years with blips, glitches odd basslines it's called glitch hop. there is no other genre other than that I suppose so yes some of koan sounds music is considered glitch hop, they just sort of took it up a notch that's it. you can ask them there selves as they lurk on here a lot just like reso, dayn, davr, and a shitload of other producers but rarely post and thats a fact, not trying to put them down but they need to start posting here like how it was back in the old days like 07 08 when everyone would go on here like skream(?), ramadanman, n type, coki, and whatnot

i hope tracks that sound like Mr. Brown/Bassnectar/that kinda thing will be the next big thing. if not I will do my best to make it the next big thing.
i had the stupid idea yesterday that it would be funny for producers to produce tracks using the year of their birth. therefore I should be reppin 92 BPM
more like get your tap tempo out, close your eyes, start tapping for 15 secs. Open your eyes. There is your tempo. That is what rate you are flowing at.

This. What's really odd is 9/10 it will come up as 137bpm when I do this O.o.

all about 100. well technically ive been doing 200 recently, but same thing. great middle ground between being able to do spacious dubstup grooves and scatty breakcore-ish blasts

Human heartbeats usually 130-140, unless your like, really, really wasted.
