i mean he's a person, an individual.. nothing is more inspiring than to talk to the person that has reached that level of skills.. way more then to ask them to give info about their skills...

excision is on this board, and he posted a fair amount of valuable info, im not sure he could add anything to what he's already shared... the rest is about being creative and get a style of ur own.. and he won't answer how to do that..

well thats a nice offer of yours but honestly... imagine you'd be in his situation. i'll just assume he's a nice guy so he won't say when he's annoyed but i suppose he will be. he's gonna be busy playing out or getting wasted afterwards, if i were you i'd just drink a beer with him and generally have a good time partying rather than asking him production-related stuff (which i assume happens daily for him anyway).

or just ask him what's his favorite beer

this. id imagine you dont wanna be just another random dude asking a bunch of questions. i wouldn't tell him how awesome he is too much either. both could probably get annoying. if i were you id just enjoy yourself and not worry too much about him. if you happen to talk to him..just keep it casual.

now if you got to spend like a day with excision somehow...then is when ud want to start asking some questions.

Personally not much of a fan, only 2 songs of his I really like. Just something I'd ask any producer I'd happen to come across.

Plus I kinda get the feeling he's into primus, I dunno why, just seems like he might be, maybe SOAD.
