And how will you inquire into a thing when you are wholly ignorant of what it is? Even if you happen to bump right into it, how will you know it is the thing you didn't know?

I love this word. I can even pin down the first time I ever heard it. (It was a Dr Who episode in 1989)

I`m going to use all those words in one sentence today, or at least try.

you are both a reprobate and a philistine and your opinion on such matters is as superfluous as its value is negligible

lullaby
decrepit
peng (reigning champion of new words i get to use on this continent)
skittering/rollicking
saudade (portuguese)

but the king of all words:
duende (spanish)

From the original meaning (a fairy- or goblin-like creature in Spanish and Latin American mythology), the artistic and especially musical term was derived. "Tener duende" ("having duende") can be loosely translated as having soul, a heightened state of emotion, expression and authenticity.

El duende is the spirit of evocation. It comes from inside as a physical/emotional response to music. It is what gives you chills, makes you smile or cry as a bodily reaction to an artistic performance that is particularly expressive.
