not at all sarcastic (but your track selection is not anything i'd ever play) ;) - i often start with a 60s soul tune (if i'm playing deep house) or a rocksteady tune (dubstep). tho now i have produced an intro tune (suited for dubstep sets) which is gettin cut right now. so no need for any intros from now on :)

fair play, i hadn't listened to everyone in the thread, and mr boombastic is hardly the most serious, beard stroker, credible tune in the world. but fuck me if it doesnt get a good reaction every time i played it out. maybe there were a few beardy types rolling there eyes but everyone else laughed and then got on the floor.

i'll have to go back and properly check all the tunes in the thread, all i'd see before was standard deep dark dubstep tunes.

I changed my mind. this every time!
And how will you inquire into a thing when you are wholly ignorant of what it is? Even if you happen to bump right into it, how will you know it is the thing you didn't know?

this one is quite nice as it goes from quite floaty to dang hard sub workout rather quickly.

Yeah man, all about the pompous opener sometimes! I usually mix out into some classic cheese that isn't too serious- something like donna summer 'i feel love' (although this was more the ski resort piss up club type DJing!!)
