I'm having a little trouble with MIDI mapping. I'm trying to map the send volume of a couple tracks to some faders on my MPD, but I can't find the box that lets me do this :s If I remember correctly it was in the envelope options, right? I can't find it :(

Actually, the opposite: a few of my more hoggy plugs seem to be doing better... specifically non-Synthedit/Synthmaker/Pluggo ones. Would presume C++ to be the lowest common denom for the ones that work better, but haven't had a chance to test that yet.

Hudson - you should get on the REAPER forums for your issue. Probably either something easy or it needs to be on the wishlist.

the opposite I find.
No DAW has come close.

V4 has improved things slightly since 3.76.

I only ever really have issues with the FabFilter plugins causing cpu issues.

So just got back into town, and had to do a sesh in Maschine, my new love. But I could no longer deny it, I really needed Maschine inside of another daw. Can't put that off anymore. I think reaper would make the perfect tape machine to print stuff out of maschine for final arrangement and mixdown.

Anyone have experience using maschine within reaper? Any issues I should be looking out for?

Haven't seen any of my posts about it? haha, love it. Yes. The love is actually starting to wane just a little bit as I come up against some of its limitations. But still, yes love it. Get really good results out of it. Really good.

yo, i don't know if you're still having problems with this but i know some other people probably will be--it's not a bug. it's called "smart copy" which pastes your item at the end of your time selection. i've spent a while tryna figure out just how this is useful but i just cant...anyways, usual cut/copying is SHIFT control v/x. you need to change this in the actions list!

Anyway to get db levels out of the meters without putting them on recording view and making them huge?

Yeah matey, live performance tool, writing tool, jamming tool, sound design tool. All without a computer monitor (essentially). That is happiness for me.

Right click, create virtual instrument on track.
Choose synth.
Go to midi lane, Ctrl + alt + Left mouse click to draw in piano roll.
There`s your synth done.
Open Media Browser and drag n drop till you`ve created your beat.

Could it be easier?
