Skrillex said reptile was him trying to make moombahton, but it turned out as a four-to-the-floor 110 bpm track. He didnt say the song was moombahton.

Been making this today.
Kick gets on all fours, snare on the third semiquaver of the first beat, then offbeat of the second. Throw some latin percussion in between.
I also found layering the snare with a hihat filled out the range.
