Too many. Mind is imploding.

Shout to artists though, Kryptic Minds, SP:MC, LX One, J Kenzo, Tim Hecker, Wormrot, The Weeknd, Pangaea, Bok Bok, Pinch, Shackleton, Cyrus, District, Sleeper, Boddika, Addison Groove, Pearson Sound, Goth-Trad, OFWGKA, Mosca, Hackman, Kingdom, Blawan, Sully, Joy O, Africa Hi-tech, Keudo, Mala (for unreleased dubs), Killawat, Old Apparatus, Koreless, Kahn, TMSV, Author (Jack Sparrow & Ruckspin).

Could go on forever, will stop. Shame that there is only one grindcore record in there, I've totally let myself go. :/

Defo. Copped everything he has released lately. So many good bits. Think an album is required from Mr Hack.

Think he said one was on the way early in 2012... I'm assuming he'll need to get it out before the prophecy comes true, anyway... :6:

My english teacher gave me a weird look when I mentioned that as the musical instrument I played. Like the wtf stare. I had to give her the 'wiki wiki' dj motion to confirm what i meant.

i think for me it makes more sense to do a personal top 5 of my own tunes - some self-reflexion. + i'm sure to miss out a lot if i take all releases that stood out in 2011.

1- phrex - species
2- phrex & cutkachi - dangerous
3- nicolas jaar - keep me there (phrex remix)
4- phrex - #6
5- phrex - enter the experience

hmm...
most arrogant post I've seen in a while!
 what the fuck is arrogant about this - i spend most time with my own stuff, i think it's legit to make an own reflexion.
obviously it's not even near the tracks that have been mentioned so far - so it does make sene for me to make a seperate chart.

anyway let me fix dis.
cutkachis tunes are fire

1. cutkachi - ihna
2. cutkachi - dubmatic
3. cutkachi - outspace (soulstep rec)
4. cutkachi - kreepy
5. cutkachi - sacred dub

nico jaar's album is incredible but i particulalry love the space is only noise track, the vocal really gets me which is unusual- "grab a calculator and fix yourself"

haha true - for me it's 'keep me there' tbh.

get shack/pinch album - you will be suprised how fresh it sounds - although it's the quite usual shack-bongo-drum thing. together with pinchs elements it makes it an outstanding mixture.

If I had to choose it would probably be Battle for Middle You on 1. Favourite records I heard for the first time this year
are probably not from 2011.
