I don't really agree with that. Even though it's an old style, if someone is interested in it, they should learn it. There is a lot of good Kung Fu in the art of chopping breaks. I use my knowledge gained from jungle still to this day.

i know im treading on thin ice, can somone have a listen to this? im just confused on how to mix the break... with the hats layerd on the kicks and shuffles. if i was to change the db on anything it would make it sound out of place. as for a general dubstep mix i would put the hats at say -18db, kick snare around -9db.
