A proper DJ feeds of the crowd and vibes on the night. DJs also bring vibes but for it to be a decent night out both parties have to play there part.

Granted a few times I have seen amazing sets that the crowd just didn't get. I'm not self concious so it won't stop me from enjoying myself but it will never turn out to be an amazing night out.

For those prices it needs to be something epic! Rather go to Bangface or something......

Went to Field Day last year, it was absolutely full of them but I still had a good time, they're harmless. To a large extent you make your own vibe. If a bunch of hipsters (hate that word but I'll use it for ease of understanding) are capable of ruining your night, you're doing it wrong.

Got tickets for this in the end, still not too sure about it to be honest (essentially it's £110 for 2 nights out and I'm worried about queueing for each area), but it'll be fun, and I'd rather stump up the cash and it be disappointing than not go and it be the best thing ever.

Also, lets face it, the lineup is ridiculous.
you ever been to the Boiler Room? It's pretty hard to go into a room completely sober full of 50 of the biggest hipsters in the world who are stood still draining the vibe whilst the dj faces the wrong way. It doesn't ruin it, it just puts a limit on how much fun you can have, unless you're saying that the vibe and crowd count for nothing?
Never been to the Boiler Room no, but I guess that because of the way it's set up and the day/time it goes out, it's different to your normal night no?

I totally agree that the crowd brings the vibes and a good crowd can turn a good night into a great one, but I point blank refuse to allow a bad crowd to ruin a night for me, especially when it's the chin stroking hipster kind of bad crowd compared to the 'kick yer fackin face in' type of bad crowd.

Fabric's a great example of this for me, the crowds there are never as good as other venues around London, but I nearly always have a good time as I'm there with my mates, surrounded by good music and...well...not at work.

In short, the whole of Shoreditch could be at Bloc and I will have a great time.

The closer it gets the more I want, though it's going to cost a bomb!

Im kind of tempted to bite on a one day pass, I mean it has to be better than SW4 and i paid £50 for that last year and the only people I enjoyed due to sound levels were Joker, subfocus and sasha!

They're doing something so you can stay at the venue between the two days, just buy a friday pass & hide out somewhere the 8 hours in between haha.
