On the subject of decent (preferably unmixed) CDs, does anybody know of any decent House/US Garage CDs from the mid-late 90s??

cd's were usually mixed with a few individual tracks on vinyl only,future sound of chicago from 95 is a good comp of relief\cajual tracks,have a look at the b.b.e and harmless records back catalogues aswell,they put a lot of compilations out.

My single recommendation: (Pre-"Rooty") Basement Jaxx and related acts Ronnie Richards & Corrina Joseph.

As others have said there's plenty of quality house music and producers out there but I'm not a fan of dumping big lists of names on people.

Big up whoever name dropped Matthew Herbert, that man is a fucking genius.
