On a serious note however,

I believe that Creationism and Evolution co-exist in this universe, I'm sure the Bible had some true references, however there seems to be a lot of things in there that contradict one book from the next.

Also the million translations and revisions have surely skewed what was originally wrote.

For example, i'm sure you have heard the argument of:

"Well, the Bible never said their was dinosaurs, but we have proof to show they existed."

Yet if you look at certain revisions, you would notice that in the book of Genesis, it states that "Animals" roamed the earth, then another revision will say "Beasts" roamed the earth.

The word "Beast" can apply to a much broader selection of species than "Animals."

There are no physical descriptions of Jesus in the bible.

Also i'm certain some of you have heard of the massive DMT release after death, that forms a temporary "heaven" or "hell" universe in the brain for 15 minutes, based off your subconscious in life, such as regret, anger, happiness, ill-will, sadness, etc.

"The world" as people knew it in the Bible was much smaller than the one we know today. If there was a flood in their region, of course it would feel like "the whole world" was flooded, because they didn't know there was any more to the world.

first of all, i wouldn't really say that's true, but second of all, "extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence". it's only logical to demand more evidence of a man walking on water than something a bit less ridiculous

sure, but that's not necessarily proof for any of the other claims in the bible. there is significant evidence of a Mesopotamian flood and it only makes sense that a cataclysmic event like that would be mentioned in the bible and given an attempted explanation/interpretation

I went to a Christian primary school, had to sing hymns and say a prayer everyday, of course i believed in every thing the bible said because that's all i knew. Then i went to secondary school and learnt about science and other religions, now im a secular humanist.

fair point scope! many cultures and religions have stories of great floods that flood their "world". these types of floods still happen today, but our world is a lot larger. maybe when the ice caps melt again we will experience a great flood and humans living eons after it will use it in their stories everything exists inside of a cycle imho

Religion is all about perception.

Different people perceive different parts in different ways. That is why it (it being any holy book) is such an unreliable source.

Nothing in the Bible is set in stone. If that were the case, the majority of religious people would not be going to heaven (if, of course, there is a god).

There is not one person on earth who has followed the teachings and morals of the Bible word for word. It's impossible, because of the number of contradictions you would cross.
And then, at the other end of the scale, there are people who say they believe in God, and believe they will go to heaven, even though they use profanities, have homosexual friends, have sex before marriage, masturbate etc etc. All of these things are 'unholy in the eyes of the lord'.

There are people at one end of the scale, who believe that they will go to heaven purely because they believe in God. And there are the fundamentalists, who go to church at every opportunity, say prayers before every meal, send their children to religious schools, and stick 'God hates cigarettes' stickers everywhere visible. All because they believe that only this way will they be sent to heaven. And there are millions upon millions of people in between these two ends of the scale, each with their own reasons for believing, and their own beliefs about what will get you to heaven or not.

After all, that's what it's all about, isn't it? Getting to heaven, or going to hell if you don't fit the bill.

So... If neither heaven nor hell exists, what is the need to 'believe' in God?

And with so many people from and between one end of the scale to the other, how can God simply place people in one of these two places?
How can you place believer A, who goes to church, prays regularly, wears a cross, sings hymns before bed, got married before ever having sex, cares for the elderly etc etc... In the same place as believer B, who just believes in God, goes to church maybe once a week, swears a lot and had unprotected sex at 16 before marriage? And what about believer C, who does everything believer A does, just for another God?

It's like if music was divided into two genres.
