Hold on, how is acting like some drug dealing madame gang warfare Crip her world? Just read her wiki, she's from small-town Australia? I mean i dont doubt shes dealt drugs because its my understanding that this is a national past-time in Australia but like... why?

And the vocal track isn't even mixed in well. Fuckin crap accent too, just speak like an Australian and it wouldn't be so bad. I mean, trying her hardest to sound American but the accent slips sometimes and its all g'day from there. The "haynds in the aye-er" bit made me actually lol. I dont know if shes playing this character or whatever, but at least fucking do it right if you must.

What a load of shit.

Also, i thought the only musical output from Australia was hardstyle and gabber?

This is fucking awful. I'm sure she'll be popular soon enough though.

thread is a good example of why hiphop threads were better in the hiphop subforum

I miss the HipHop forum... I didn't realise we were being rolled into the "Can we get rid of Other Music" conversation.

Pretty much this. Beats are good, not a fan of the rapping.

My english teacher gave me a weird look when I mentioned that as the musical instrument I played. Like the wtf stare. I had to give her the 'wiki wiki' dj motion to confirm what i meant.

Well, the beats are kinda similar and they've got tits. I can't believe how bad Nicki's albums are, she's a ridiculous mc when someone else is writing the rest of the song... Iggy's just a decent fast rapper, the way Nicki switches up voices/flows is undeniably awesome. I can't think of many female rappers that can take her on her day - but she's got fuck all quality control and can't write a song for shit.

The [pop] world really does need another Nicki Minaj.. just one that can write a fucking chorus.

I have to agree about NM's albums. Her actual, literal, rapping & writing ablitity is insane, but like you said, her quality control--or whoever does her A&R is terrible. I was all set and ready to buy this one too--nope. Album was all over the place, like she was just playing in the studio.
