Well, i'm talking making dance music is just boring to me now and I ain't making it for myself; so I have came to the realisation to make music for myself again, instead of for everyone else (even without thinking I was!)
Saying that though; I ain't just making this album to release it for moneys - I am enjoying writing it, gives you a new perspective when you've already made up your mind its your last time hah!
Its finally bloody happening!!

First of all congratz
Secondly:
And last but not least you can still make an alright living off music; personally i start my day by producing music for adult channels/websites (one of my jobs) in the morning, then I go to my actual job to give financial advice part time in the afternoon, then come home and produce my personal beats in the evening. All in a days work

There is a lot of dickheads like how you just explained, although i think a fair few digital artists, like myself, would still want a vinyl release A) Because it's not the real deal till you physically own a cut of your own record and B) just purely out of respect for vinyl culture.legend4ry wrote:I hate the idea of producers who are not a part of the vinyl culture, like people who have never stepped foot in a record shop, even knew what a vinyl was until people started taking about it on forums getting signed/put out on vinyl. Its just one of my pet-peeves, vinyl costs a lot to produce so if you don't even own a single vinyl, making a label fork out grands worth of money for your release just because it'll be on vinyl and that equates to being a " big producer" these days is just arrogant and self-righteous.
