I suppose that's why a lot of people listen to it, but for me and a bunch of other people I know, we're never able to hear music out on a system, so we just buy really nice car systems, and that's good enough. I only listen to this music on a loud vehicle system, a home speaker system, and pretty much everywhere else except a venue or club. I think good music sounds good wherever it's played assuming you can hear all the frequencies clearly.

I can see how someone can hear this tune and say "oh well it's a little bit different than their normal stuff." But in reality the only thing that is slightly unusual is the kick pattern and I guess fewer growls. But overall it feels just like KM, business as usual, same stuff. I'll still cop though.

i take no issue with the 4x4/hybrid style, KM have done it great in the past, as with "Arcane," but the samples i have listened to of these have left me feeling cheated. obv i'd be down with this on a rig but i'm just saying, this and the new Osiris aren't their strongest work. IMO

Sick release. Something new and different. Don't see how this is lazy? Wouldn't lazy be doing the same halfstep mid growl tunes over and over? This release is more about energy and pace.

Everyone's entitled to an opinion though obviously some people aren't going to love it but I don't think that these tunes are remotely lazy, less is more.

Again, people seem to be missing the point and assume I call this lazy because it is 'minimal'. Not what was said. This just doesn't strike me as a new Kryptic Minds what so ever. There's the same palette but without some of the other elements. And that's why I think this is lazy: I'm not hearing the big change in style, I'm not hearing the difference.
Arcane was very similar to this tune (they've done several 4/4'ish tunes in fact), this could just as well have been on that mediocre second album. And that's the last thing I'll say about it, it's not as if anyone is going to change opinions about this (but judging by the comments here, I'm not the only one who isn't impressed at all by this).

Theses tracks sound nothing like Arcane! The kick pattern is completely different and so are all of the sounds!
What are the other KM 4/4 tracks?

^ There was the old version of the Dub Marine remix. I always thought it had a 4x4 pattern but listened again a few months ago and I can't tell if it's from the tune before now. It's on that DJ Madd Fabric promo mix, like 3rd tune in or something.

If I recall correctly this was the first version they made; but it didn't get a release. There is a new 4 x 4 track which i've heard them and Youngsta played called 'The Divide'. Sick track. hopefully it will see a release.

sick release but i do not find any 'new style'
it's typical KM business.. only with a different kick pattern :)

Both of these tunes surprised me to be honest. Wasnt really feeling the samples on juno however kryptic minds have never let me down before so I picked it up anyway. Definitely growing on me the more I mix them and hearing youngsta drop askum the other night at the sydney gig has got me convinced! One of those tunes you gotta hear on a system to appreciate properly!

Loving this release! It's all about the heavy rolling sub! Internet clips really doesn't do this release justice!
