mostly, although she dropped Wiley - E3 + a SICK warrior queen tune I aint heard before as well, from what i can remember she played Knowledge, Mud, Anti War Dub + Cockney Thug plus a few other new bits.

Pinch played a few tunes from the breezeblock set he did, a couple of sick new bits (there was one techno esque tune that was amazing) and 'One of those days'. really wanted to hear 'qawalli' but alas he didnt play it.

Coki played nowt but his own tunes, I went sick when Spongebob dropped, couple of other sick new tunes as well, and the gangsta for life remix/burnin (which i heard 4 times over the weekend, getting rewound each time! no wonder my voice has gone today!!)
anyone know what the tune was he mixed into 'loving you'???

Mala was sublime, mixing was amazing, left leg out, neverland, anti war dub, miracles, 50,000 watts, some amazing new ones...and then finishing with 'spongebob' (was funny watching him trying to find it, having to shout coki over and make sure it was the right dub haha', and then finished with 'lean fwd', the perfect end. was great hearing him on the mic as well. proper showing us love, and watching him take the pics of the crowd.
its great when you see that the dj is just as excited to be there as you are, makes such a change from the overpayed knobs in other scenes.
really thought we'd get one more as well!!!!!!!!!

overall, dubstep ruled....would have loved to have some in the night when it was dark though!!!!!!

had a fucking wicked time meself like, the mud was just plain hilarious
mala did a really god closin set and i have to say i think mark irations was definately the best set all weekend.

had a shit saturday during the day though, me and m mate mark were racking up lines and rolling a twiff, when 4 security guards burst into our tent and basically raped us of everything we owned, they took all the drugs, and snatched mark off to a police station where he got charged with intent to supply. one of the security officers even asked for my money, and i was like "why the fuck do you need that, im not gunna give it to you", he said it was for evidence that we were dealing???? i mean what the fuck, and as they were interigating us fucking 8 more showed up to take mark away...........fucked up i swear

also ive come to realise that venetian snares is a donkey

apart from the qqueitness and the mud, i had a really good time

dear whining bozo,

I was pissed because when asked to play I told them I heard the sound was shit last year and declined. they promised me it was all sorted out for this year. it wasn't. when I took it up with the soundguy he decided to only run highs into my monitors from that point on. so I fucked off.

don't worry, I have no plans to visit your glorious country anytime soon"

i agree the sound wis shockingly bad in overkill, but walkin off wis fuckin pathetic.

Caught Mala and MAH, both great. Missed some of the dubstep earlier on Sunday as we tried to dig the car out with a tractor tow. Also really enjoyed Trentemoller, Apparat, Gaudi (djing in IDSpiral, very dubby), The Black Dog, and the fantastic Milanese.

Does anyone know who the guy was doing Bass Clef's slot (before MAH)? He looked about 15. (Like others, I thought he was Bass Clef, and I think that's what the screen said at the side of the stage at the end of his set, but probably an Overkill cock-up.)

Also can anyone id Mala's first tune? Think it had a kind of ethereal female vocal sample on it. It's probably pretty well known but I'm new to dubstep...

Did everyone leave Mala early? He finished with Bury Da Bwoy straight after Lean FWD. Man played one of the best sets I've ever seen anyone play. It was that sick. Other highlights were Clark, DJ C, Enduser, Pinch and loads of stuff I can't remember.

Large up 4linehaiku, Reso, Decibella, Wiggle Barron, Coki, Mala, Mark Iration, all the random Leeds heads I bumped into and anyone else I chatted shit to. Ridiculous weekend

Latest Snares response from Mu Board:

Date: 07-25-07 06:21

again, I didn't want to stop playing. yeah I got pissed at the sound boy cuz he wouldn't turn it up. people obviously wanted it turned up. so after I told him off he ran only highs into my monitors, meaning all I could hear from that point on was hats and other high pitched sounds. if it's too difficult to understand what it's like to attempt to mix like that then I don't know what to tell you. think what you want of me. I didn't storm off, I waved goodbye and left.

people can say all they want about how other djs didn't complain about the conditions and that is fine. but it's not the case when someone is deliberately fucking with your sound. I hung around in the mud too, had a choice not to show up even, but I did. so why then would I go to some place to get covered in mud only not to play for a bunch of people also covered in mud that wanted to HEAR me play? I wanted to hear me play too.

I'd also like to add that I wasn't dissing on british people but the uk itself. was clowning around, people shouldn't take it the wrong way.

it was a little quiet, yes. but everyone else who played just got on with it. And some acts such as Pinch and live-dnb-drumming-bloke (dunno who he was) sounded pretty fecking great imo.

all in all i was just happy that the tent was open. After seeing a fucking great big river running through it on friday, i thought my festival was over. Props to the people that made it happen!

:D
is it?

NO.
