its a parody of a stereotype... it can only be bitter if you know the people who did it and know exactly why they did it and even then it'd have to be something as stupid as "i feel threatened by Compa's affinity for dubplate culture"

which is just ridiculous... so it could be that, or it could just be a joke and if anyone's offended by it without good reason, should probably just lighten up

Music is taken far too seriously at the best of times. It would be intolerable if there weren't the likes of Wanka, Incnic and Peng Dubplatez to make us step back for a minute, and realise how silly we're all being.

It's a pretty good rip on the hype machine that's developed, which recently has, to me anyway, just become unbearable.

It's just harmless stereotyping, people will make jokes about Snoop Dogg being into weed because he seriously likes weed, and never shuts up about it. Same for Compa and dubplates (it's his passion I guess, so power to him for talking about it).

EDIT: Before some ultra ultra-liberal jumps down my throat, when I said "harmless stereotyping" I mean stereotyping that isn't harmful, not that all stereotyping is harmless. Big up.
