Re: @ the lurkers
i lurked for about 3 months before i joined simply because of all the available and stockpiled information on the forum.. its worth taking the time to read through it all and take it in before you start asking/participating. not to say signing up is a bad thing, just not what i chose to do. it seems the majority of the posts i enjoy reading through are threads started years ago. the majority of threads being started these days end up to be 1 or 2 page off and pretty uninteresting. i definitely wouldnt say im helping either haha!

This thread was basically aimed at improving attendance in the comps but whatever. Also didnt realise non-members cant vote, so yeah- pretty pointless poll lol.

Re: @ the lurkers
I am still quite the lurker. I like to visit this forum on a regular basis and I will probably contribute more to ongoing topics once I feel more competent in production with regards to dubstep. I refrain from making new topics as I know this forum is plagued by the same repeated handful of questions every week and that search button usually serves me well enough...
Re: @ the lurkers
I don't really frequent the forum as much as I used to. Mainly because a lot of the information that's being passed around is stuff I've already heard or learned for myself. Now a days I spend a lot of my time trying to put it to use and DSF really distracts me. I don't upload tracks like I used to either as I'm currently in the process of trying to work some shit out for myself.
I personally don't think this is a bad place at all. It actually saddens me a little to see so many people picking option 3. This forum really doesn't have any more or less annoying people on it than the majority of forums on the internet. I've used a lot of the big production forums just as places to take in some information and really they are all equally as bad, or good if you're a "glass half-full" kinda person. I still remember going to the Future Producers forums and seeing half the front page being nothing but people bashing FL and anyone that used it. That shit was pointless and annoying but easy to ignore. I guess it comes down to the user's ability to tolerate things, and how patient they are.
