Going by the kind of films you like i'm honestly surprised at that.

You should watch The Wire next. I need to watch Deadwood. I read somewhere that, as they debuted in this order on HBO, the shows were a trilogy about America...

Deadwood - the formation of America and rise to prominence
The Sopranos - Ruling / descent of American empire
The Wire - Complete destruction of all that "we" built
Man I couldn't sit through an episode of Deadwood back when it was first airing due to the incredible amount of swearing.
I mean I curse, and hell I was in the military so I'm no stranger to people swearing all the time, but every time I tried to watch Deadwood it was like fuck every other word and so prevalent that it got distracting.

I was enjoying it, just gradually found myself less & less engaged. I may try to go back to it at some point but it just felt like a chore. The episode with Paulie & Chris lost in the woods was absolutely hilarious though.

Chris - Russians? They're not all bad.
Paulie - How 'bout the Cuban Missile Crisis? Cocksuckers flew four nuclear missiles into Cuba, pointed them right at us.
Chris - That was real? I saw that movie, I thought it was bullshit.
