So ask for specific feedback on some part? And I do actually think that's helpful in that it is motivating, and you can gauge by positive response per listen.

Fine, but that doesn't mean you shouldn't ask for feedback as well.

As some personal feedback, you should try looking at a list of fallacies, in particular the false dilemma and straw man.

exactly. and all the technical stuff is just learning and asking questions

the un-asked for positive feedback is the pay off for all the hard work in the end.

Post by VolumesofPotatoes » Fri Nov 02, 2012 12:35 am

Alright, what I wanted this thread to be about when I started it was to help me find resources on parts of making dubstep/house/electro/ect. But now it seems to be a bashing of me and my FIRST FUCKING TIME effort. Okay? I just wanted tips. TIPS! FUCKING ADVICE AND/OR FEEDBACK! NOT FUCKING YELLING AT EACH OTHER OVER HOW SHITTY MY SONG IS, OKAY? I WAS HOPING THAT I COULD COME HERE AND LEARN BECAUSE I AM A FUCKING BEGINNER! NEVER CREATED ANY FUCKING PIECE OF FUCKING MUSIC IN MY LIFE! GODDAMN, YOU PEOPLE...Mods, ban me if you must, but leave my post, because I don't fucking care anymore, I'll just never make music. Ever. Because nobody told me where to go, or what I could do, or really anything. So, ya'know,

BULLSHIT. UTTER. FREAKING. BULLSHIT.. IF I CAN'T FUCKING ASK A SIMPLE QUESTION WITHOUT ANYONE EVEN LOOKING AT MY FUCKING POSTS, GOD HELP YOU ALL!

GOD FUCKING LOVES YOU, I WONT BE BACK!

EDIT: TL;DR Blah, Blah...Whiny, pissy post about how I'm too lazy to use the search function.

This place IS the resource... dig around for a bit.
VolumesofPotatoes wrote:Now, if anyone could point me in the proper direction for making something like this? Because I haven't the foggiest idea where to start. And all the things you guys have said I shall look at soon, but I really just don't know where to start...
Turnipish's answer was most likely the best answer that could ever be given pertaining to "WHERE TO START?" and you apparently wasted it. You wasted everyone's time here. People like you are the reason this forum is so flame-happy when it comes to threads like this. After 150 "HOW DO I BECOME THE NEXT FAD THE EASY WAY?!?!" threads I don't blame them.

This is the saddest case of leading a horse to water I've ever seen. You must have missed the most important advice provided here about not giving up... heck, it looks like you missed everyone's attempt to help you. So... since you can't read, you must have no need for a forum!

Bye!

Okay, there seems to be a miscommunication. I don't want to be "the next big thing the easy way." I know it takes hard work and determination. And I'm sorry for being a fucking asshole/douche/buttmunch/fucktard/fluttershy sparklecunt/cum dumpster/whatever-you-want-to-call-me-because-i'm-it. I'll use the search function next time. But, the thing is, does the search function tell me how to make a dropping-type growl?

It does?

well, shit.

Congratulations, you look like you officially survived DSF's trial-by-fire... 6 months from now maybe you can flame someone's first posting here and understand exactly why. ;-)

Please mods, close this, I don't want to infect anyone else with my ignorance and stupidity.

Actually, just delete the whole thing before it cancels the whole internet.

Yeah, if I really try, would ever get to sound as good as you guys? I mean you are possibly better than Skrillex (WTF am I saying? Eveything sounds better than skrillex!) And again, I'm sorry for my rampaging stupidity. "LOL how doo i form?" is probably my reaction to forums. Coming here and expecting everyone to do the work for me. "SORRY BUB, THAT'S NOT HOW THE WORLD WORKS!" I hear you screaming at me. So, yeah, time to have a look at those pages you guys linked to me. Cheers!
