Also they aren't secrets but I've become a very frequent user of camel phat, fab filter Saturn, and fab filter simplon. Also don't want to think of a world without abletons instrument racks. Oh yes and lexicon reverb. I picked up iris the other day and I'm really loving it. I could see it becoming something I use very often as well.

i thought scream distortion was one of the most commonly used distortion units in all of edm.

Secret weapon? Practicing restraint on all my normal weapons.

Proper combining of various fx but with a subtle touch on each. Currently like using camelphat for distortion. Guitar RIg also has some nice fx options.

Also automation of random parameters such as dry/wet of an effect. Using channel states to save interesting automation clips to use in other projects.
