To be fair based of my experience alone, it would probably be faster purely because we all have to line up single file anyway allthe way to the door, then you either have them checking your name or bank card and taking the ticket compared to handing them £10 and being on your way.

Presume as its a Friday we will all meet in the pub below before hand anyway right?

Don't know why they keep changing ticket providers though.
