Yo ableton 9 comes out in like 10 days and will be 64 bit. Not sure why you say don't learn ableton first... The routing is one of my favorite parts about it. Coming from FL studio I didn't have any problem learning anything and I don't see how it's that much different. Usually people who haven't spent enough time learning ableton say that other people shouldn't learn it. C'mon man, quit premature posting and get to knowing your DAW

i'm strongly considering building a windows pc just to be able to use FL Studio at this point. Damn you ImageLine and your slow ass development. They will be nearly doubling their sales once there's a mac version. I have no idea why it's taking this long.

Anyhow, as someone who started out in Reason, the workflow in Ableton really, really annoys me to death. Also there's some things they really need to sort out considering the interaction of arrangement and session view. I'm sick of it, there comes a point where you find yourself being limited by your DAW too often and it's finally happened.

God how i wish reason had VST support...
