Belt drives are ok , everyone had to start somewhere and i couldn't afford Technics. the Grime mix on my soundcloud was mixed on belts, sounds decent stilllllllllllll
Luckily most clubs seem to have reasonable cdjs, i'm more vexed about getting there to find : no needle for turntable, fucked tonearm, missing counterweight, broken on/off switch, broken pitch, and alot of the time, no turntable at all... Which is f**king irritating when you have specified, and then carried a f**king heavy bag of vinyl with you aswell...

Direct drive version of these are some of the nicest decks I've played on.
+1 Used to have T80s they're spot on and cheap as chips
