I haven't used Absynth in a while - I think it's on the patch browser. From what I remember you can choose characteristics and it'll mutate into what you've chosen. It's pretty cool, one of the best features of Absynth imo.

I like to take massive create a legit sounding patch hit record and record my patch in different speeds and different sine waves and then chop ll of them up and turn them into interesting sounding patterns for about 8 barslong,i try making like at least 5 a day,then on another boring day take that 8 bar loop,add some phasing,notches,more leo or effects and record that.within a fucking month you have your own sample library and theres no goddamn way you cant make music,unless your really lazy
