Always remember to carry a black plastic bag folded inside.mephisto6 wrote: whenever i use the milk crates got to make sure its a nice sunny day

The needs of the many...outweigh...the needs of the few
yeah milk crates.. i've got one of those in my house but if you look a bit closer u will find..
they have partitions in them for the bottles, so u can't put records in them [admittedly this is probably only relevant to me]
i've got another plastic crate where my records go at home
but the sides don't have handles so u can't really carry it around
my schoolbag is starting to destroy the corners of my record sleeves..
does anyone have a super clever way of making a record bag for skint teenagers?
buying a record back for £50 would mean not buying any records for months and making me quite depressed

I have this same bag, but in black. Really like it.guerillaeye wrote:
I also have a hunter green Black Market Records bag from around 1997. The bag itself is still holding together, can hold about 100 records, but the straps on the sides are all busted up. Also, the actual bag is a generic bag that several other shops and labels had used around that time; I think I've seen old Breakbeat Science and Moving Shadow bags, same make and model, just their own logos on them. And Turntable Lab in NYC also sold blank versions of these bags.
And then I have a 50/50 crate that is bombed with various stickers, and is nice for gigs because you can split it in to two halves, line up the records all nice and easy to access. But it is a fucking pain to haul it around, so I rarely use it. I think last time I had a gig that I took it to, I had to park four blocks from the venue and it was raining, and I over packed it and the two mentioned bags.
