Swagga Back = Terrible
And how will you inquire into a thing when you are wholly ignorant of what it is? Even if you happen to bump right into it, how will you know it is the thing you didn't know?
Re: Datsik love

more talented than you and I will ever be, so who's the real joke? Love him or hate him (I don't particularly like him), he's talented at what he does. Get over it.

wouldnt go as far as saying someone would never reach his talent level. seriously, anyone can run shit through a granulizer and make those sounds. point blankcmgoodman1226 wrote:AJP UK wrote:Datsik is a joke.

I already said that I have never been a massive fan but I can see that the guy has talent. This place is full off pretentious deep heads, DMZ fanboys and people who like shitty minimal crap so posting Datsik tunes up is never gona go down well! I honestly wouldn't worry about the opinions though!!

Re: Datsik love
Not fan of his noisy music, but this one is pretty cool. Some interesting musicality in his wobbles
...but for now I go back listening to Silkie

Re: Datsik love
I don't like his music, he's probably a talented guy and he's doin what he likes/makin P. Either way, its more the people you see at nights where his music is played. Just a bunch of teens moshing shirtless and that's just wierd and probably just a way for them to touch eachother.

Deep heads? Shitty minimal crap? You mean the foundations of the original dubstep sound?mikey-bizzle-09 wrote:I already said that I have never been a massive fan but I can see that the guy has talent. I really can't take anyone seriously who listens to mid-range noise machine sounds.
Check this: it's what's referred to as progression, it actually has an effective use of sub-bass and isn't a complete alteration to the genre.
I'll have to agree with you on that oneReamz wrote:I would go so far as to say that AJP is actually better than Datsik...cmgoodman1226 wrote:AJP UK wrote:Datsik is a joke.

Re: Datsik love
Datsik's old stuff used to be cool. Used to really hear the hip hop influence. Now it just sounds all too "thrown together".
P.S. Before you call me a "douche" (God I hate that word) or anything along the same lines, this is my opinion. Dont be so up tight.

I would absolutely LOVE to see your music that's better than datsik. Please inspire us all with your deep progressions.AJP UK wrote:Deep heads? Shitty minimal crap? Re: Datsik love
You're missing the point mate. It's not about making the hardest sounds. His sound has been recycled many times and not just by himself. Music is representative of how you feel. By making somebody elses sound you're essentially not making your own music.New postby cmgoodman1226 » Wed Aug 24, 2011 2:10 pm

Re: Datsik love
The problem is, you appear to love datsik, so aren't into the music he is into. Why would he bother making a datsik-esque tune when he doesn't like it? Just to prove to some guy on the internet that he can? I think not.
Also, there are some brilliant producers on this forum I rate more than datsik.
You're entitled to your opinion, just don't get stroppy when people aren't agreeing with you

absolutely agree with this to an extent, but you can't say the same thing doesn't happen in the deep minimal stuff as well.Dr Bloodnugget wrote:You're missing the point mate.
