Re: People that go to the gym
I just go to the gym for practical strength. Aesthetics are second. And a lot of the guys at my gym think the same way.

Re: People that go to the gym
I personally don't see anything wrong with getting fit and maintaining fitness becoming a hobby or passion. I mean, if you're a meathead doing meathead shit hanging out with other meatheads, it's practically the healthiest *sub culture* going. Each to their own, and if a person gets satisfaction or confidence from that, more power to them.
Getting fit is always a good thing. I'll never condone these hipster wankers doing the whole Shoreditch System fitness thing either, it's a positive, good thing.

Amazing how fast you can swoll up when you lift heavy and to exhaustion. I never knew. Was doing it wrong my whole life.
@magma, I love cardio, but word to the wise, balance it with some weights. I like to do cardio outside, hiking, biking, etc. And weights at home. Don't really like being around people when I'm hitting the weights. I can't help but be pulled out into the external world (Maybe I could wear some black out shades, and headphones, ultimate cool
). When doing weights, I like being very internal, very focused, very in my body. I'm talking all serious, but I just do a few dumbbell exercises.

Re: People that go to the gym
btw cycling is the most relaxing and mind-cleansing thing ever. I own a campagnolo race bike which I use for longer tours maybe once a week and a kona cyclocross one which I take to the woods every so often. really helps me step away from stuff that's been bothering me and get my head straight again. not exactly doing it for fitness reasons, but it sure helps.
I can't jog more than 2km without crying like a little bitch though.

I would go if I didn't find the repetition so boring... I prefer to do something more interactive and practical, like martial arts. Otherwise I just work on random stuff like climbing frames because it's free

Ye cardio's good, 25 minutes on the bike before you start lifting and you'll be pumped up. + You'll get creds for actually warming up properly

People are purely what they do imo. Aren't even recognizable, or valuable, without that.Genevieve wrote:With everything tbh. I hate people who base their personality off of one thing. So we would've been fed to lions, while lions would've toyed with you before devouring you?m8son wrote:yh it does

That's a regular sized lion. Proving that short people have an advantage vs lions.OGLemon wrote:
