there are ghost producers in rap just as much as anywhere else.

if keef recently started producing, he's definitely doing more overview than actual production/beat writing - just like a lot of other guys who "start" producing.

of course you're right but these beats just sound beginner in a weird way...like Asap rocky's beats obviously sound like they're made by someone else with him "directing" but this seems different imo

That isn't what I meant, I was clarifying to OP who talked about his being drug addicted and making music as if he was actually making music. I saw that Vice interview, the kid who makes his beats doesn't even take drugs.
