An interesting observation. I think breakcore is too sonically busy to easily cram more subs in there without creating insane/unmasterable transients and jungle's reliance on a predefined palate prevents it from getting too nuanced. Also think that drumfunk is kind of an attempt to bridge both shortcomings - more design and more interesting structurally.hubb wrote:...but yeah I wish breakcore had more bass or that jungle had more design...
