I love the way they're not too hung up on individual authorship as well - you didn't get Doc Scott moaning that if they all used the same sounds all they'd produce would be generic tunes, or that if they were using sounds that Goldie had made they wouldn't be being true to their own creative impulse or something, they just used the sounds at hand and got on with being creative and fucking shit up and inventing jungle...elgato wrote:yeh thats a deep tale! such a sick idea for a label, to create such a uniform vibe running through releasesSlothrop wrote:Apparently back in days Goldie and 4 Hero had a bunch of marathon studio sessions and put together about 15 DATS worth of samples, textures, beats, FX and so on that got used all over the early Reinforced material.
