your far too sensitive nan! i think its easy to impose a haughty attitude over text, it being a medium devoid of tone and face & body expression...
i think it all comes down to people not using the search function and starting another thread in a series of threads about the same subject

its all love tho!! community!!!!

Yeah, I think from now on, no one should post a thought before firstly getting its validity checked, then double-checked for correctness, triple-checked for worthiness, cross-referenced for similarity, searched, researched and double badman researched to attempt the robust debunking of said thought, leading happily to the avoidance of shaming by the self-appointed judges, critics and thread-taste-makers of the dubstep community who know everything.

The original post baited producers for 'taking the piss' by holding onto tracks before releasing them. This isn't the case and shows a lack of understanding. I'm sure 99% of producers would be happy for their tracks to be released and earning them money the day they are finished.... there is nothing elitest i can see in this thread.... Dubstepper posted a grievance, myself and others explained that the reason for his grievance was not altogether valid as other factors get in the way of a release...

I can understand it is frustrating to not own a track you like if you are a DJ (at whatever level, from bedroom to superstar) as you want to rinse it....if you are just a listener it is also great to own it for the ipod or whatever but you can alway cut it out a mix until the release....things do get rinsed out for sure but there will always be other great stuff coming along to keep the interest going. As Shiva points out the dubs section is full of complete tracks to a high standard available NOW.... They may not be from the top boys in the scene but there is some quality there and some DJs (Cringer, Shiva etc....) who have done mixes using these dubs have used them to great effect...you may even discover artists you never knew about and really feel....and it's much easier to bag 320s off them than the 'big names' of the scene.

I'm sorry but 'Dubsteppa' asked a simple question, in order to gain some views on the subject.

People on here talking about schedules and labels, lets face it, people just want their tracks exclusive for long enough.(hence 'dubplate' culture).

If any of you lot were into 'Drum and Bass' you'll know how fustrating waiting 12 months and over for a tune is. And by the time it's released, it's not worth buying.

Now we can all use the search function, but that comes up with yesterdays answers, not todays. so give a guy a break, answer the question at hand, or leave blank, and move onto the next topic.
