http://www.madtracker.org/plugins.php?t ... 1132028210 - Cyanide is the most versatile waveshaper Ive ever used, mostly because of the adjustable pre and post amps and bi-filter. Only drawback its not totally automatable on all DAWs, though Ive never had any trouble with it on my pc, we argued with it on ableton.

http://www.kvraudio.com/get/2082.html - MBCrushy. Just plain essential for brostep.

http://www.novakill.com/killerz.htm - Novakill stuff... though its obviously shameless promotion for the band, the gating plugin is the shit, and thier synths produce some pretty awesome special effects, if not the best actual synth sounds, youll kill alot of time making eplosions and crazy intricate sweeps n shit... The delay can give some real nice dubby effects becuase it phases when you fuck with the time ( ) ... I guess the nitrous make nice sounds, I never play with them though, just people who come over do...

it is but what could possibly be stereo about mutilating a sine wave?

Waveshapers bend it into new waveform, phase/subtractive/additive theory, anything conflicting in your actual waveform shape would just be harmonics not change stereo image...

Unless your shaping hihats or something odd for lofi effect... I use it to sculpt bass sounds (mono) and to bend stuff out of synths/shift little harmonic bits around and muddy/sharpen stuff n whatnot...

Basically what Im getting at is its mono cause not many stereo applications require shaping. And those that do, more then likely, would require the stereo effects to occur post generation of the waveform anyway (most part)...

I think makes sense?
