no they don't

Chase & Status are upfront dnb producers and most of their tunes are pure bangers, sure they have some liquid sides to the sound, but they don't usually do it. Sell me yor soul, Dumpling Riddim or Brazil are just a few, and they're anything but liquid.

Their earlier garage/breakstep.breakbeat/whateveryouwant to call it was decent tho, I do admit.
pendulum make jump up, chase and status usually make liquid.
it mite be a bit formulated, but they it to a tee
you av to give em credit for their almost flawless productions.
Dunno, just sounds like Caspa but with melody. Prefer the earlier stuff to be honest, more raw and had groove. Flawless production doesn't make for a good tune I find. Still, sounds like the sort of thing all the new dubstep headz seem to be drawn to, so sure it'll sell by the bucketload.
Hmm....

Sick tune.
They're definitely amongst the most versatile drum & bass producers out there, liquid, dubby, jumpup, techy, you name it. Not a fan of all their stuff but they have made some really good tunes.

Anyone got audio for their tune with the indian sounding sample? Such a heavy tune. Heard it twice now, once at Why Not and then Shy FX dropped it last night in manchester

(along with cockney thug and night, obviously..

).
It's the one from this vid -->
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2QPMrGpjUiE. Just right at the end you get a taste of how filthy it is when it drops, much better than the tune here i think.
edit - on the theme of dnb producers reaching into dubstep, anyone heard Mistabishi's dubstep track on the new hospital podcast? it's pretty evil

as well as the one unlikely mentions, there's one on Bingo and one on Vehicle on a breaksteppy tip - as far as i know this was before they got big in d&b.
anyone remember the status exclusive youngsta used to play back in the day that was a cover version of eskimo but with harder noises?

Took me a few listens to get into this track, now I like it a lot. First heard it from CD when Youngsta dropped it at FWD.
