i heard it was a whole lotta work from day one so am ready and willin for the intensity (tho let's see if i'm sayin that 6 months down the line).
so hyped for it though. is it the essays or the weekly language/kanji practice that fuck you up the most (though likely the combo of the two i would guess)?

SOAS used to be the one back in the day. Before all of this security barriers and no-smoking bullshit the bar used to be full of positive vibrations, loadsa blazing and safe people.
It's shit now, even my dad (who guest lectures there) says it shit. And he knows about shit.

I went to leeds, started doing japanese but then changed to asia pacific studies as language courses were full on... still managed to get hiragana and katakana down tho
and going japan soon which should be sick

mnsrfrites - yeh man ull have a sick time over there!
sinc - yeh i know bruv u used to go down to the soas bar and shit was hot boxed down there!
But as a student there it aint too bad, not like when i first checked it out but people are definately on a level, some creative heads.
