Thats some hating right there.

I'm curious about the part about the "wonders of the jungle/drum and bass scene"
oh that'll be listening to dillinja have another wank over the same old patches hes always used....

or getting thrown down some stairs by goldie..... 8)

its funny really the comments about 'youths' writing/getting into dubstep..

i know a lot of late 20's to middle age ravers that have all moved, well, drifted into dubstep mostly because on the variation...

whereas most 'youths' i know get well into generic, jump up drum
'n'bass and breakcore....

i've got a theory that jungle was watered down to d'n'b as a way of giving all the happy hardcore heads something to dance to because they couldn't get used to riding the bass riddims!

took my mate to a jungle rave years and back and he almost died trying to dance to like every snare!

looked like he was having a fit whilst being electrocuted! :o

what a knob, firstly this writers an ignorant fool. to state that "we can only imagine 2 or 3 long haired computer geeks standing in the corner of the room nodding their heads to the ungodly cacophony of beats and bass" implies thats he has never been a step gig. secondly has this person actually listened to dubstep?for me the sound of dubstep in amazingly intricate, to be able use silence and the most minimal beats as tool to get people dancing is a feat in itself.

but there is a god and he is a DJ so maybe

'inhuman cacophony of beats and bass.'

And hows about an album title instead of a tune and hooking me up with some new HELL_SD bits then ?

Hahaha pure bait. How could you say that dubstep is a poor man's jungle and then deride it for being produced on 'playstations' when jungle was a lot more lo-fi than a lot of dubstep?

Still, think he's on to something viz DNB promoters jumping on it now its popular.

i think the D&B heads are jeleous that dubstep heads make better bass and they got left with mid range heavy nose bleeders.

That article is actually really funny if you read it to yourself in a ludicrous Brummie accent, like Ozzy with a cold.

This guy does sum up Birmingham to an extent, the music scene is dry as fuck and full of wanktards thats why I moved to Bristol. The custard factory is still the best place for more cutting edge stuff, but it was the same 10 years ago.. Hopefully with all these 'bandwagon jumping promoters' we might see a Dubstep rave at the Que club, now that would be special.

lol thats exactly what i did without even reading that post mate, lol

It sounds to me like hes pissed off that dubstep didnt reach brum sooner? A bitter fan perhaps?

Funniest thing about the article is trying to work out who its aimed at, Nathan Barley anyone?
