defo gonna be some of the deeper dubstep flavours giving the main stage soundsystem subs a workout!!!!!

re rest of dubstep at glade: hoping cyrus is in there..I did have a proposal in for a BLOOPTFUNK chillout cafe with soundsystem with the glade that got turned down at the last stage of consideration of which cyrus was involved amongst others, perhaps that was it? would have been the tent to be at but alas........ :?

hoping to see a few names to be added to that overkill tent.....bit of kode 9 , 2562,martyn,appleblim would be most apprecated

Also apparentley Caspa & "Roosko"(According to the glade website) are on the breaks stage, as well as Plastician.... Going to be heavy! What day are people getting down? Me and my mates are thinking of driving down on the Thursday, free parking if your car has three or more people in it!

Updates from the Glade stable:

THURSDAY 17TH JULY UNTIL SUNDAY 20TH JULY
THE BEAUTIFUL WEST BERKSHIRE COUNTRYSIDE, UK

With only a month to go until the 5th Glade Festival, anticipation is building and dance music fanatics across the UK and indeed the World are gearing themselves up for yet another 3 full days of dancing, loving, healing and partying.
This year’s headliners include Dubfire, Jeff Mills, Pendulum LIVE, James Holden, Frequency 7 (featuring Ben Sims and Surgeon), Autechre, The Orb, Dub Pistols, Stanton Warriors, Slam Live, Daedelus, Claude Von Stroke, Tim Sheridan, Mr C, Plump DJ’s, Aquasky and Tayo.
However the Glade isn’t just about headliners.
It’s a whole array of quality underground electronic dance music underpinned with amazing decor, lasers, acoustic tents, quirky cafes, healing treatments and all round amazing surroundings to house it all in.
Some of the new additions to the line-up include London institution Bangface who will be taking over the totally off kilter Overkill stage on the Friday. For the rest of the weekend Overkill will be showing the best in dubstep, electro, electronica and the more experimental side of things. Highlights in addition to the wonderful Autechre are Brooklyns purveryor of bass Drop The Lime, the Japanese Invasion of DJ Scotch Egg, Bogulta, Ove Naxx, Maruosa and Dokkebi Q fresh from their European tour featuring a showcase at Barcelona’s Sonar Festival and the deep dubstep ragga stylings of The Bug featuring legendary MC- Daddy Freddy. Bangface will bring their unique blend of rave euphoria featuring the legend that is CJ Bolland, amen break wunderkind Remarc, Bong-Ra shows his metal come experimental force and hardcore legends Vibes and Livelee bring the euphoria!
There’s still more line-ups to be added to but if you’re into breaks, psy trance, techno, electronica and house then this is the festival for you.
Still to this day the only successful offshoot of the Glastonbury Festival where it was known as THE renegade dance music stage and it has now become one of the foremost electronic music festivals on the planet. Promoters involved in the Glade include Breaksday, Nano Records, Sancho Panza, Overkill, Liquid Connective, Bangface and Inspiral and you’ll also find input from many incredible people on all sorts of levels so that the music is just one of the incredible ingredients in making the Glade a truly spectacular music festival.
So log onto www.gladefestival.com now where there’s a load more information and instructions as to how to get tickets. Tickets for the weekend are £125… camping free….
'We, the promoters of the Glade, are all first generation ravers... so we are keeping that unity vibe alive by keeping it real and not selling it out to commercialism; we don't go for corporate sponsorship because we believe that’s exactly the sort of thing people are looking to get a break from for a weekend... They want to be in the beautiful reality bubble that is a good festival... and that’s what the Glade is about ultimately... a place to come and express yourself freely, connect with like minded people, dance and have a blindingly good time...'
Nick Ladd – Glade Festival
