"We will also be introducing a new night ‘Multiverse’ which offers an insight into the underground music scene. Expect high quality dub, D&B, Psy Trance and Breaks. It all kicks off on Monday 22nd September in the Lighthouse."
Anyone know anything about this/ if its gonna be a decent event or not?
I like the sound of this, where will the multiverse be takin place, the club on campus?
Yeah, i think the lighthouse is the bar above the venue, though im not 100% on that.
The lighthouse is like a little room above the campus club, I saw it when visiting mates who go kent. I doubt it would be any good for dubstep tbh

Yeah, makes me think how everyone LOVES Kings of Leon now. Puts me right off em. And it's only cos there once-raw heavy sound has been watered down for the masses. Let's hope that never happens to dubstep ay? I hate lazy bandwagon jumpers (ie. the majority). Let's keep this sound to a select few if we can still.

Dubstep night in Canterbury this Saturday 11th.

K-Bar/Dolche Vita on campus at the University of Kent.

Should be alright..at least the rig is said to be good and it's open to anyone. You don't need to be a student.

Free entry and all that..

Finishes at 1am this time but if it proves popular then the venue has said that it could be extended to 3am on the following events.

If it takes off then it could be a regular fixture.

Need to see some heads here!

I Live in Folkestone and am into dubstep. The trouble is there are no decent venues in Kent with a good Sound system that are going to take a chance. Also anywhere you do find will probably have a three o'clock kick out and then your stuck in some dead end town with three hours until the first train out of there. I have tried doing parties in the area and free parties but no one really gets it. They just want crappy house or cheese.

On the other hand I would love something decent to kick off.

Im sooo vexed i missed this, how did it go? was a rig bought in for this event? i can't imagine K-bar having any serious bass, but who knows.

Will there be another one on soon? i need to put on my skanking shoes real soon. or until Wobble back in Southend.

duttyvibes please PM with some info i got some people i want to bring into this, well up for gettin this dubstep recognised for the underground masses.

i was actually pretty impressed with soundsystem for k-bar, when it was turned up about you could feel the bass so all was good. It was fairly quiet when i was there, though more and more people were arriving by the time i left which was pretty early, so i dunno if i got more packed? either way, more of this please!
