joe nices last track was meta-lick (lol a quick last track aprox 6.5 mins long JOKES LOL) the place WENT OFF. at the end someone asked what song it was and he goes 'skream - metallic' he points me out and says 'ask this man in the blue hat about it, its his favorite song'
haha joe youre too funny
skream man we gotta talk lol
This, exactly. I was at Formation in Leicester in the dubstep room, and some unknowns (I think) were DJing before Bar 9. I was just mashing at the back off this crowd and this "Ahh ready for the DJ Skream!" belt out. Meta-lick dropped so heavy, and, not believing my ears, instinctivley shouted "NO YOU DID NOT" and felt fucking amazing.
In short, sort it the fuck out and release it already.

The annoying thing is if i came up with a tune THAT boring, i wouldn't really want to continue with it. A 10 year old could have made that!
How can skream get away with making such wank stuff?
I do like it, but come on! I'm just a sucker for midrange.
2 mins in now, jeez. Boring shite.
Rusko pwns this tbh

i'm with most of you on this, it sounds kinda boring at home and nothing special, but i'd say its fucking mental when played out. sounds like it would blow you to bits and you'd shit out your ribs from skanking so much! it does what it says on the tin!
you can hear it better here

its all about this track live, saying its 'boring' is very anti-eyez down style dubstep statement. serious meditation tune.
skream approached his previous 'tune cycle' with this sound ie tunes like simple city, metal mouth, what did he say, even clap your hands has a similar sound. not bashing at all i love them all, i guess analyzing the progress of skreams musical creativity is a hobby of mine(???) LOLx50
i vow to continue posting, repping, obsessing over, this track until its released or we get some kind of input on it, whos with me? (dsf version of joe nice's conference treatment ya heard?)

I'm not "a sucker" for midrange at all (most of the midrange I play is my own tunes) but I like this track its simple but it works great in the mix mabeye only playing for a minute on its own. Anyone who's seen the reactions this tune gets in a club wouldn't dismiss it as "wank" and the only similarity with Rusko is the fact that its got a midrange bass.

The Keep Watch Mix is quality - given it a lot of plays.

Yeah, a lot of his material that's emerged this year all have a similar formula, especially when you compare tracks like Metal-Mouth, What The Fuck Are You Looking At? and What Did He Say? but as long as they stay bangers I'm not too fussed.
