the problem is that most dj's that look at a smashed-as-fuck track and see it as being the "right way" to do thing.
honestly, most of the dj's i know tell me to look at how awesome this track is - then they show me a waveform of a track with absolutely NO dynamics, one that looks like that metallica track.
so many foot soldiers in the loudness war. and i don't have the heart to tell them that they are completely wrong.
