well for me the wu tune that makes me think of when i was younger is 'gravel pit' but that isn't really that old but it was the first wu track i ever heard...

first Wu track you ever heard was Gravel Pit? shit came out when i was a Senior in high school. Was ok for that mainstream style they got at but gotta love everything made before that fo sho! I hope to see the Wu live one time before i die.

I never really got what all the fuss was about with them? I thought there were loads of other Hip Hop acts around at the time (before & after) who kicked their ass. They were good but nothing amazing.......maybe I missed something???

Oh I realise they're standard, I just didn't get the fuss? Don't get me wrong I love Hip Hop and thought Wu Tang had some cool stuff but they really didn't release anything that blew me away like alot of folk.

ofcourse everyone mentions that album,
but go find the Song Guillotine, and Wu-Gambino's
two sick songs. Guillotine might be under just Raekwon the chef though

36 Chambers was a good album but for me it featured a bit too much beating of the chest.

At the time 36 came out I was over Hip Hop due to getting sick of Gangster type stuff..........around 98 I picked up Aceyalone's "Book Of Human Language" and got heavily back into Hip Hop via Acey's solo stuff (I was always heavily into Freestyle Fellowship) and folk like Saul Williams and labels like Big Dada, Rawkus, Project Blowed and Ninja Tune. That is when I started delving into Wu Tangs output a bit more.

Fu-Schnickens was always my favorite right after Wu-Tang,
