innit. I took a lot of stick as a west ham fan for Green Street... fuck knows what it's gonna be like for Green Street 2.jackieboi wrote:See i liked football factory too, think they casted the people quite well so it actually loked semi real.Diss04 wrote:oh my god... green street 2? i am a west ham fan and i loved 'the football factory' (from which the film nicks quite a bit) but even i think that film is fuckin' awwwwwwwwwful....
When you've got Frodo Baggins and some American spice boy running around as chelsea headhunters your not going to give any impression of realism whatsoever. It was a fucking joke. Number 2 looks even more ridiculous.

will probably be the only decent modern hooligan movie.
Football factory and green street were shit oi oi well 'ard bollocks. Awaydays is based on a very good book about the early casual scene in liverpool.
Plus theres some nice pairs of OG adidas in it, rather than reebok classic chav shite.

In the show, yes. But I don't think anyone is actually twatty enough to call it that in real life. At least I hope not. Who the fuck writes Skins anyway? Is it dickhead yoofs, or is it grown up dickheads who think they're down with the kids?Noesis wrote: British people call weed "spliff" in the show? first episode was pretty shit. the physical comedy gags were straight up chuckle brothers business, writing was substandard and the characters were stereotyped and hammily acted. that being said i still laughed at the bloke who drove the yellow megane, listened to wu and played right back for bristol city reserves... and the fact that effy would get it (no questions asked (no paedo)) (ok that was a lie, i would fuck it (bare paedo))

Charlie Brooker does too many wanking gags and is generally too hateful sometimes. Funny but.
