iv experimented with house, techno, dnb, and some other weird stuff that i wouldn't know what genre to put it in.. iv had dj's playing my house and techno stuff.. but i don't really get involved with it much anymore.


how did the name kutz come about... if i tell you id have to kill you

i can get influenced by near enough anything.. i could be driving and hear a weird noise and it could trigger off an idea.. or i could be looking at a picture an automatically think of a tune that would go with it.. sort of like a sound track..

yes i speak 20 different languages

You, Skream, and Benga seem to churn tracks out like madmen. Is this simply coincidence or do you all have a similar work ethic when it comes to making tunes? I could never write an entire tune in a two days, let alone one.

I think he meant to say what he did, in that he couldn't create an entire tune in one day, let alone 2 tunes in 1 day.

edit: upon rereading my post I have come to the conclusion that it makes perfect coherent sense to me...Perhaps the only thing that should be added to clarify is the word "tunes" on the end.

How did u come up with that bass in Glitchy Finger (think that's the name)?

What IF any is the most frustrating thing about producing ?

Do you cut alot of dubs ?

How often do you DJ, did you DJ alot before you started to make moves as a producer ?

most fustrating thing is when you've got an idea or you want somthing to sound a certain way but you cant get it it out.

well i lost a lot of dubs (long story) so i had to use cd's. gona get back into very soon though. more dubplates for 2009!

dj'in have picked up alot.. before it was like once in a while and lately its roughly every week. big shouts to everyone feelin the beats and mixing style.
i was dj'in first then got into the production side of things.. kinda just came along with it.. theres nothin like playin your own beats in a club or radio and gettin a reaction.

how would you say is the best way to get good feed back for your songs?

friends and famaly just say "yer i like it" and people online are just like "yer big tune" or "big up". lables are just know help for this to. if thay dont like it there just like "i havent got time to play it right now" even tho thay just did.

i want to know whats crap and whats not.

best way id say is to get a couple tracks that your totally happy with to dj's who will play it and then let the listeners give you the feedback..

dont know about similar work ethic.. but i suppose we all have determination, we all put alot of hours into it and we all actually enjoy writing music from star to finish.
