thanks. its good to see some people actually giving the advice i asked for rather than just having an online bitching session (me included) i will definately take your advice and i hope the thread can return to its original purpose.DJPavillion wrote:Hey man, I like your tracks, I think they're pretty creative.
If you want some advice, I would work on making your work a bit more atonal, the chord progressions get a bit predictable after a while.
Also, what I find always makes tracks more interesting is to A) Have something (it can be small) with an outrageous effect on it (eg a guitar strum with super stereo delay and a freaky pitch shift) and B) add some really unpredictable sounds and samples in there, and you can work around these and create a song based on working with the mad sounds. I once even had a food procesor in the middle of my song... (it was supposed to sound like a chainsaw...)
Anyway, take my advice or completely ditch it, I'm probabaly talking shit now so, y'know.
Take care, and I really do hope you get into uni dude, honestly.

Yeah, but a little feedback isn't a massive crime against all that is holy.q_steppa wrote:you have to help yourself get into uni.
I don't see what the problem is here, he wanted feedback, and we told him that asking for opinions isn't going to work out, so what's the problem?
whatever, I'm gonna go make some choons.
