Oh right, sorry!

I'm currently and allways have been digging the dubstep output by Ebola.

Neil Landstrumm, ruckspin, some of those cotti tunes with doctor, that tranquera mix with cardopusher & pecheko, those tunes are vibrant!

basicly anyone who writes tunes that can stand alone as tunes on their own, and not shitty throw away dance music that has a build up, a drop, a quiet but and then the same all over again.

tunes by Coki are boring, i can't seem to understand the huge amount of praise producers like him get.. all these tracks people are name dropping like that goblin one, road rage etc..

the beats sound exactly the same in every tune! and the 'crazy' wobbling just sound retarded, and to make it worse they all sound like looos, you could start the tune 4 minutes in and you wouldnt be able to tell if it was at the drop or just ending.

i reckon its because you've all come from a background of really shit dnb and gay uk garage that you appreciate such mediocrity.

why did you even join this forum?
you should not be here imo.

I always see you bitching about how dubstep is so boring, and all this shit...

and how are you going to have the nerve to say "gay UK garage" ?

 you puzzle me.

I joined because I wanted to be able to take part in discussions, listen to people dubs n that y'know.

I don't think dubstep is boring, i'm saying Coki is boring, I may have also said other producers are boring in other parts of the forum.. so what?

Ah yes, the old.. 'if you cant do it better than you have no right to criticize' argument..

Doesn't really mean anything if I can't make a better tune than Coki, i'm still allowed to not like his..

I make my own tunes, and i'll send them to people if they really want, not a lot of them are dubstep though.

from the stuff u mentioned, i get the drift ur into your more melodic stuff and tunes that come like actual songs.

i can appreciate that and where your coming from cos i love the really musical stuff....

but thats good in one way, whilst stuff like goblin and robotnik is good in another way.

its dance/rave music so it has the major influence of repeated patterns etc. thats just by the nature of the genre.

just sounds like to me your not into the dance/rave orientated beats, which if thats the case u can understand why that strikes people because fundamentally it is all dance music (some tunes more complex than others).

correct me if im wrong?

Yes and no, i like melodies and clever musical arrangment just as much as I love the more formulated dance music, but it at least has to have something that sounds inspiring to go with it., i'm not just gonna think 'oh ok it's dance music so i'll just try and appreciate it' it's not an excuse to write shit tunes.
I think its quite sad when people are praising coki as allways being original, or the best for originalty, when he uses the same beats and wobbles in pretty much all his tracks, and there are many producers out there doing much more fresh and original sounding tunes.. amazes me, especially when half the people licking his arse are the probably the ones moaning about the scene becoming formulated and boring like drum n bass.

anyway it doesn't matter, i just think a lot of coki tunes are quite boring

he uses similar sounds, ill give u that. but some of the sounds he uses are quite unique. well i suppose thats subjective.

his beats aint as deeply worked and constructed as other artists, but his beats sound mental and even if u think they could be better made they still manage to get the job done with people. if u have been dmz u will know this is the case.

dubstep is a wide genre and he is just one producer. people arent giving him any unneccesary attention or hype, he gets what he deserves tbh, in the same way other good producers in the scene get the praise they deserve.

You said Coki's tunes were unimaginative, that it was shitty throwaway dance music and that people lick his ass and that garage is "gay"

Whether you've got a point or not no-one wants to hear it because its delivered in such an arrogant, ignorant way

yeah exactly, whatever, it is all just personal opinions...

one of the great things about music is that there is no definitive answer as to whether a certain song/track/tune or a particular producer/singer/rapper is good or not...

you can make your own mind up...think what you think...

i have agreed with alot of posts Abs has made on this forum in the past and i have disagreed with many of his posts...

as the old saying goes...

opinions are like arseholes, everybody got one...

Coki is EASILY without a doubt my favorite dubstep producer at any time during the scene.

His beats sound so human and yet so mechanical, so minimal yet so full.
